Role Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Postperson to join our team in Upminster Delivery Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery of mail and parcels.

About the Role

This is a permanent contract opportunity that requires working 30 hours per week, across five days, including Saturdays and Sundays. The role involves walking for long periods, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and having a strong sense of community pride.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering mail and parcels to customers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Providing exceptional customer service and responding to queries and concerns
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A full UK manual driving license with no more than six penalty points
  • The ability to walk for extended periods and work in various weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
