Job Description

Role Overview

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking an experienced social worker to join our team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for completing assessments to consider the needs of children and young people and the risks they are likely to experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of children and young people
  • Develop and implement support plans to mitigate risks and promote positive outcomes
  • Work closely with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the child's needs
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues to ensure high-quality practice

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have post-qualifying experience in child protection, children in need, safeguarding, looked after children, or referral and assessment. You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
