Home Care Team Lead

Somerset Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Home Care Team as a Senior Care Worker in Chard. If you share our values of connecting with people, making a difference, and doing the right thing, we invite you to apply for this rewarding role.
As a Senior Care Worker, you will provide personalized support to customers in their own homes, including assistance with daily activities, meal preparation, and accompaniment to appointments. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of care workers to ensure high-quality care delivery.
To be successful in this position, you should hold a Level 2 in Care or equivalent qualification, a valid driving license, and your own vehicle. Knowledge of the Chard area and ability to commute from your home location are essential. A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends, is also required.
The annual salary for this role is £27,033.24 - £27,661.92. As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy ongoing training, NVQ & Care qualifications, and opportunities to start an apprenticeship. We offer competitive pay rates for night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays, as well as mileage reimbursement, free DBS checks, and uniform provision.
