Job Title: Junior Electrician / Metering Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Electrician / Metering Technician to join our team at Direct Energy Solutions. As a key member of our technical functions, you will be responsible for performing a variety of activities supporting our energy monitoring and management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys to understand client electrical reticulation and requirements, and create reticulation diagrams.
  • Install and commission Low Voltage monitoring equipment, including 3-phase and 1-phase systems.
  • Program and test communication devices, ensuring successful system communication.
  • Commission and capture devices onto the online portal and set up hierarchy.
  • Provide training to on-site personnel on deployment and commissioning processes.
  • Offer ongoing technical support to clients as required.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualifications.
  • BS 7671:2018 (latest amendment).
  • Minimum 2 years' industrial on-site electrical experience as an improver.
