We are recruiting for a skilled Welfare Unit Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Welfare 4 Hire Ltd. In this exciting role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our welfare units across the UK.

About the Role

You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our welfare units, including generators, electrical systems, running gear, and other essential components. Your duties will involve attending scheduled and reactive maintenance calls on customer sites or in depots, performing remedial works as required.

To succeed in this role, you should have significant experience in inspection, maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing, preferably with industry experience working with welfare units. A full clean UK driving license is also essential. If you can work well under pressure, have strong organizational skills, and possess good customer engagement skills, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and diagnosis of welfare unit defects
  • Servicing, maintenance, and repair of generators and electrical systems
  • Servicing and maintenance of running and towing gear
  • Attending scheduled and reactive maintenance calls
  • Electrical testing of units and appliances
  • Refurbishing units as needed
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop and vehicle

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, company vehicle, company pension, healthcare cash plan, holiday allowance of 24 days per annum (including bank holidays), and access to an Employee Assistance Programme.
