Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Residential Lettings team at Spicerhaart.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record of success in residential lettings, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Senior Negotiator position or higher.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading daily meetings with the Lettings team, coaching and mentoring team members to achieve KPIs, and monitoring and assessing individual team member performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading daily meetings with the Lettings team
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to achieve KPIs
  • Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance
  • Encouraging team development and progression
  • Generating new and repeat business
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
  • Liaising with Tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
  • Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
  • Ensuring the business is risk-averse and following the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies.

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within residential lettings at a Senior Negotiator position or higher
  • Ability to work well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, communities and each other
  • Ability to create and action business plans relevant to your branch
  • Ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors
  • Strong understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings
  • Reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Basic IT skills

Benefits of the role include:

  • Complete on-target earnings exceeding £60,000 per year
  • £20,000 to £32,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
  • £2,500 for your first 3 months of employment, whilst you build your pipeline
  • Uncapped commission

  • Enrolment onto fully-funded training course that will earn a Level 3 Award in Property and Housing Management (including ARLA)

We are currently conducting some interviews using video software. To be eligible to proceed in our recruitment process, you will need:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
  • We'll need evidence of your right to work in the UK, in the form of: Passport/Birth Certificate
