Lead Energy Engineer | Hybrid - Coventry | up to £42,000

PT Renewables is partnering with one of the fastest growing energy consultancies to find a Lead Energy Engineer to mentor and build the energy team.

As a Lead Energy Engineer, you'll drive a variety of energy-related projects, ranging from electric and heat generation to fuel sustainability and compliance with incentive schemes.

This role is ideal for a project engineer looking to make a move into a management role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of diverse energy projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, regulatory bodies, and third parties, building strong relationships to ensure project success.
  • Lead and develop a small team of Project Engineers, Graduates, and Apprentices, fostering growth and excellence.
  • Take a hands-on approach to managing projects, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing proactive support to colleagues.
  • Analyze complex data and present findings in an easy-to-understand format for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in delivering studies and feasibility projects within the energy sector.
  • Technical knowledge related to the energy industry.
  • Excellent report-writing capabilities and IT skills, including MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • A full, clean driving license.
