Job Description

**Job Title:** Head of Asset Management

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Asset Management. This is a key role that will be responsible for the direct enhancement and exploitation of ICT and Digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Ensure Efficient ICT Service Delivery:** Oversee the delivery of an effective service desk and ensure that staff are trained and developed.
  • **Governance and Control:** Oversee governance and control for ICT project management and maintain stable, secure and cost-effective ICT infrastructure.
  • **Budget Management:** Manage ICT budgets and ensure the best value from suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
  • **Critical ICT Infrastructure:** Maintain and monitor critical ICT infrastructure to support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management.
  • **Legislative and Regulatory Changes:** Monitor legislative and regulatory changes in ICT and Information Security and advise on implications.
Experience/Qualifications
  • **Experience in ICT Management:** Experience managing all aspects of a technically diverse ICT function, including staff recruitment, management, and development.
  • **Complex ICT Transformation:** Experience in delivering complex ICT Transformation programs and experience in developing and implementing ICT policies and procedures.
  • **Commercial Contracting:** Skilled at tendering and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • **IT-Related Legislation:** In-depth knowledge of current IT-related legislation, security policies, and any current developments in the ICT field.
  • **Travel:** Be willing to travel around the county.
