About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Analyst/PMO to work alongside an experienced Programme Manager in delivering a critical client project. This role will provide full-time (5 days/week) support, complementing the Programme Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day project management activities, stakeholder communication, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily project operations and coordinate activities across project teams
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and report on key metrics
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating to the Programme Manager as needed
  • Support the Programme Manager in strategic decision-making and governance
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings and manage client expectations
  • Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning
  • Perform quality assurance on project deliverables
  • Maintain project documentation and knowledge base.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or business analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic project environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification
  • Experience in the client's industry sector (Financial Services)
  • Familiarity with business process modelling techniques
  • Knowledge of change management principles.
