Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement and Partnerships Specialist to join our team at the Marine Conservation Society. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining relationships with local communities and businesses, and will work closely with our fundraising team to develop and implement effective community engagement strategies.

The successful candidate will have experience in community engagement and partnerships, and will have excellent communication and project management skills. You will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and will be comfortable with networking and public speaking.

As Community Engagement and Partnerships Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with local communities and businesses
  • Developing and implementing community engagement strategies to promote our campaigns and events
  • Collaborating with our fundraising team to secure funds through grants, donations, and partnerships

You will also be responsible for reporting on engagement progress and outcomes, and for identifying opportunities for growth and development.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
