About the Role

Evelyn Partners is seeking a skilled Investment Portfolio Manager to join our team in the North East. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing personalized investment advice and portfolio management to our clients, ensuring that their investment portfolios are managed in line with our investment philosophies and process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop trusted relationships with current and potential clients
  • Provide personalized investment advice and portfolio management to clients
  • Structure and lead client meetings in a professional manner
  • Construct and maintain suitable portfolios in line with clients' requirements
  • Review portfolios regularly and make portfolio changes as necessary
  • Work in partnership with Financial Planning and Professional Services colleagues to develop client relationships
  • Ensure comprehensive client records are kept and are accurate and up-to-date at all times

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 6 Qualified or Chartered status
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and investment market
  • Experience of managing client investment portfolios and providing investment advice
  • Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of wide-ranging investment management strategies and solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of leading pitches and winning new business
  • Experience of operating within a risk management framework
