Your Role as a Support Professional
As a Support Professional at FitzRoy, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals we support. Your responsibilities will encompass providing personalized care tailored to each person's unique needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized support plans, ensuring each individual's well-being and personal growth.
- Engage individuals in a variety of enriching activities, such as shopping trips, creative pursuits, bowling, or swimming, fostering their social interaction and enjoyment.
- Assist with essential personal care routines, including showers and baths, promoting independence and dignity.
Work Environment and Schedule
You will be part of a collaborative team environment, working alongside dedicated professionals who share our passion for providing exceptional care. Your schedule will involve diverse shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring comprehensive coverage. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with a 37.5-hour full-time contract per week. Weekend availability is essential, and you will have weekdays off when working weekends.
Benefits and Compensation
- Competitive hourly rates: £11.00 per hour for weekdays and £12.10 per hour on weekends.
- Additional compensation of £2.50 per hour for overtime shifts.
- Time and a half or double pay for public holidays.
- Sleep-in shifts compensated at £50 per night.
- Generous holiday entitlement: 30 days from your start date.
