Job Title: Academic Head

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Academic Head to lead our Student and Academic Services Division. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our Access and Participation Plan and driving our institution's commitment to social inclusion and inclusive education.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of widening access to higher education, social inclusion, and inclusive education. You will have experience of evidence-led project management, evaluation, and budget management, as well as strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to work collaboratively across the institution.

You will be responsible for managing our Widening Participation Evidence and Evaluation Team and designing and developing relevant monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to drive continuous improvement in strategy and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of our Access and Participation Plan
  • Manage the Widening Participation Evidence and Evaluation Team
  • Design and develop monitoring, evaluation, and reporting frameworks
  • Collaborate with senior management and operational staff to drive strategic interventions
  • Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, including regulatory bodies
