Job Purpose / Summary

Rubix, a leading industrial maintenance and distribution network in Europe, is seeking a skilled Machinist to join their team. With a turnover of €3 billion and operations in 23 countries, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in the industry.

As a Machinist at Rubix, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies. Your tasks will include performing milling operations, balancing mechanical assemblies, and maintaining machines in good working order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machines and tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies
  • Perform milling operations, including drilling, tapping, and boring
  • Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment
  • Maintain machines in good working order and report any defects to management
  • Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures and wear the correct PPE
Requirements
  • High school qualifications
  • Experience of manual machining
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good team player with initiative
