Machinist Technician

As a Machinist at Rubix, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies. Your tasks will include performing milling operations, balancing mechanical assemblies, and maintaining machines in good working order.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure workflow procedures are followed.
- Operate various machines and tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies.
- Perform milling operations, including drilling, tapping, boring, and conventional lathe and milling work.
- Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment.
- Use hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools.
- Record all data necessary to produce expected service or design results.
- Maintain machines in good working order and report any defects to management.
- Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis.
- Keep work area neat and tidy.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and wear the correct PPE.
- High school qualifications.
- Experience of manual machining.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Good team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.
