We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Engineer to join our team at Major Recruitment Doncaster Industrial. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mobile engineering services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform conversion and coach building duties, including fabrication of chassis bodies.
- Conduct fault finding and repair of all builds within the business, including rams and tail lifts.
- Utilize vehicle electrical knowledge to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Perform basic diesel heater duties and report any issues found on vehicles.
- Conduct QA checks on vehicles to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Complete mobile or off-site works, including finish conversions in line with specifications, in a timely manner, and to a high standard.
- Interact with clients and customers in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Operate the company's IT system for recording work and maintaining accurate records.
- Previous experience working in a mobile position is essential.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office packages, including intermediate Excel knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working with accuracy, using own initiative.
- Experience in basic diesel heater maintenance and vehicle electrics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work to a high standard of finish and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to varied work tasks and priorities.
- Hold a full UK driving license.
