Job Description

This Therapy Assistant role involves working with patients in their own homes to provide integrated care services. The successful candidate will work closely with Occupational and Physio Therapists, nursing staff, General Practitioners, and the acute hospital to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Gain informed consent for treatment in accordance with Trust policy.
  • Develop and deliver physiotherapy or Occupational therapy treatment programmes using guidelines set by qualified physiotherapists.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, both written and electronic, in accordance with professional, legal, and Trust guidelines.
  • Use and apply clinical knowledge and experience to assess and manage clinical risk within the limits of own scope of practice.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio, including certificates from relevant courses or training.
  • Willingsness to work towards the Care Certificate.
  • NVQ Level 3 or willingness to work towards.
  • Membership of CSP.

The salary for this role is approximately £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
