We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Practice Educator to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to pharmacy staff, promoting the acquisition of new skills, knowledge, and competencies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement education and training programs for pharmacy staff, including on-the-job training and practice development.
- Collaborate with the Patient Services Team to develop and maintain orientation packages for new staff and ensure their smooth integration into the team.
- Lead the continuing education, training, and professional development of staff, promoting the acquisition of new skills, knowledge, and competencies.
- Supervise and support the development of pharmacy staff, including Rotational Assistant Technical Officers, Apprentices, and Pre-Registration Pharmacy Technicians.
- Contribute to the development of pharmacy service developments and quality improvement projects, aligning with departmental and Trust priorities.
- Recognised GPhC accredited Level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification or equivalent.
- Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Practice Supervisor Training or equivalent experience.
- Educational Supervisor Training (Propharmace).
- Previous experience of co-ordinating NVQ Level 2 award.
- Member of APTUK.
