We are accelerating the build out of renewable energy infrastructure to reach net zero. Our ambitious plans include expanding beyond batteries into new asset types.

About the Role

This is a new role created to ensure our focus on employee engagement, retention and reward is maintained as we grow. You will be responsible for coordinating payroll services across three countries, handling all payroll related communications and salary benchmarking. The role also involves benefits management and process improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Management: Coordinate delivery of an efficient payroll service, ensuring accurate and timely employee information. Work with external partners in Italy and Spain and internal colleagues in the UK.
  • Salary Benchmarking: Coordinate continuous cycle of salary benchmarking across core teams and countries. Monitor and collate candidate data, gather salary data from external sources and participate in compensation surveys.
  • Benefits Benchmarking + Management: Monitor effectiveness of current benefits offerings, ensuring competitiveness and comparability in each country. Conduct benchmarking exercises, make recommendations and source suitable external partners.
  • Process Improvement and Project Delivery: Assess payroll management model, evaluate external payroll partners and manage transition between partners when changes are made.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Excel skills with ability to process large datasets with accuracy controls.
  • Previous experience conducting tailored benefits reviews, with proven ROI assessments and commercial case-making abilities.
  • Broad understanding of salary benchmarking best-practice and frameworks for niche/emerging industries.
  • Exposure to international employment norms, benefits administration and/or payroll processing is advantageous.
