About the Role

Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) PLC, a leading mortgage intermediary, is seeking a highly skilled Group Management Accountant to join its growing Finance team. This newly created role comes at a pivotal moment in MAB's journey as we evolve our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the Group management account creation process, working effectively with management, financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Implement and improve the reporting control process across the group, delivering high-quality financial information to Senior Management and the Board.
  • Design and implement reporting controls across the Group, involved in various ad hoc projects to improve the management reporting process.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified (CGMA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Experience of working within a Group environment.
  • Excellent Excel skills with the ability to use advanced formulas and data manipulation techniques.
  • Excellent ability to understand and use Accounting systems.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with and influence a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • An ability to work well under pressure, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with an inquiring mind to challenge pre-existing processes and ways of working.
