About the Role
This Asset Audit Team Leader position at YHB requires a seasoned professional with strong technical expertise and leadership skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of assurance engagements, developing subject matter expertise, and mentoring junior staff members. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Leading teams in understanding new assurance and accounting developments
• Taking responsibility for the supervision and review of Associates' workpapers prior to Manager review
• Maintaining the complete confidentiality of firm and client information
• Presenting yourself and your work product to clients and co-workers in a professional manner
• Developing and maintaining strong, positive client relationships through timely communication during the engagement as well as periodic communication throughout the year
• Participating in civic/professional organizations, as well as YHB marketing activities

Benefits

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a relevant field
• Requirements to achieve the CPA certification and/or other certifications of similar standing as approved for development
• A high level of integrity and ability to respect confidentiality
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledgeable of firm policies and procedures
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Demonstrated time and work management skills necessary to manage a complex workload

Leading and Developing Others
This role also involves leading and developing others, including:
• Providing Associates with the framework to complete assignments based on experience levels
• Developing ability to communicate review comments professionally while providing feedback
• Participating in the training, motivation, supervision, and evaluation of team members
• Offering constructive feedback to Associates
