Electrical Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team at PT Engineering & Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Applications Engineers to develop and modify electrical schematics, including designs for CT/VT, electrical interlocking, and control systems.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to address any issues related to design drawings.
  • Assist in producing contract job packs and deliverables, ensuring on-time project completion.
  • Provide support for customer queries and internal departments regarding electrical designs and manufacturing requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy in project work, ensuring compliance with high standards of drawing quality.

Requirements:

  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (preferably AutoCAD Electrical).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
