Job Title: Existing Business Development Underwriter

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide brokers with timely renewal invites for all products, including RPO, CPO, Retail, Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Contractors, Tradesman, and Commercial Combined.
  • Work through renewal queries for your panel of brokers in a timely manner.
  • Action all Mid Term Adjustments and Cancellations for your brokers and clients.
  • Manage large case renewals over £5,000 and above.
  • Act as a referral point for Underwriting Assistants within the Team.
  • Answer phone calls to brokers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Operate in accordance with the Underwriting License given.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues using the Underwriting guide.
  • Take initiative to improve work processes and promote overall corporate goals.
  • Ensure Group trading entities deliver customer outcomes in a compliant manner in accordance with the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
