Job Description

Pertemps Redditch Commercial is seeking a skilled Accounts Administrator to join their team. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Maintenance: Assist the Accounts team in maintaining the company's invoice system, ensuring accuracy and correct formatting.
  • Supplier Invoicing: Input supplier invoices, reconciling statements and monitoring the accounts email inbox.
  • Payment Processing: Assist with processing supplier payments, supporting month-end accounts, and processing weekly invoices.
  • CIS Payments: Process CIS payments and update relevant systems.
  • Subcontractor Ledger: Maintain the subcontractor ledger, ensuring payments are up-to-date and liaising with other departments.
  • Sales Ledger Invoicing: Produce sales ledger invoices and chase payments.
  • Weekly Hire Invoicing: Process weekly hire invoices.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Qualification: Desirable but not essential.
  • MS Office Skills: Proficient in MS Office software, including Word and Excel.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a purchase ledger/accounts administration role.
  • Accounting Principles: Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices is advantageous.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: A basic salary of circa £24,000.
  • Working Hours: 8-4pm, Monday to Friday.
