Community Mental Health Social Worker

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Community Mental Health Team in Bedfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals and their families to provide high-quality social care services and support their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and care planning to ensure individuals receive the necessary support and services.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care and support.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
- Participate in safeguarding enquiries and investigations, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably in a community mental health setting.
- Strong understanding of mental health legislation, policy, and guidance, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and subsequent amendments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to assess and manage complex and high-risk situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users.
