Electrical Engineer (HV) Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's team on an outside IR35 contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical engineering activities, including concept, front-end engineering development (FEED), technical studies, and detailed design.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Designing high-voltage power distribution networks for large COMAH manufacturing sites
  2. Preparing electrical specifications for MCCs, MV/LV switchboards, generators, and VSDs
  3. Completing loss calculations using Trimble (Amtech) Design Suite
  4. Providing detailed technical input into project proposals to clients
  5. Working to BS/IEC standards and ATEX directive

The ideal candidate will have a strong Electrical Engineering background working on chemical process and COMAH facilities, with experience in HV/LV electrical design and engineering load calculations.

This is a competitive hourly rate position, and the successful candidate will be required to provide electrical engineering services to support the client's projects.
