About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 teacher to join our team at a prestigious primary school in Croydon.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality education and creating engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students in Year 5, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to students, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging students to reach their full potential.
  • Develop and implement maths lessons that introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry, and help students develop their writing skills by creating engaging stories.
  • Monitor student progress and report back to parents as necessary.
