Transport Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our Highways, Transport & Design service at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

This is an exciting time for transport in Stockton-on-Tees, and the wider Tees Valley. Our team is working in partnership with Tees Valley Combined Authority and other partners to deliver a programme of transport schemes that will enable residents and visitors to travel more sustainably.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in or with public sector organisations, good knowledge of project, contract, and procurement management, and strong communication skills. They will also have a strong track record of decision making and working to deadlines, as well as effective budget and financial planning skills.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £38,223, flexible working arrangements, and a generous pension scheme through the LGPS. We also provide access to a range of employee benefits, including an employee counselling service and a salary sacrifice Car Lease Scheme.
