**Supporting Students' Wellbeing in a Thriving Secondary School**
We are seeking an empathetic and proactive School Support Worker to join our well-established secondary school in Waltham Forest, London. The school has a strong reputation for its supportive and inclusive approach to education, offering students a safe environment to grow both academically and personally.
Job Summary:
- Provide 1:1 and group pastoral support to students, helping them with emotional, social, and behavioural issues.
- Work closely with the pastoral team, teachers, and parents to ensure students receive the support they need.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting respectful behaviour and engagement.
- Support students in developing self-confidence, social skills, and coping strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a secondary school or similar setting, ideally in a pastoral or support role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting young people.
Compensation: £110 - £120 per day, term time only.
