About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Analyst to join our team at People With Energy Recruitment Limited. As a Market Analyst, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the global energy transition by providing in-depth market analysis and research on the offshore wind industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis on regulatory developments, technology advancements, and market trends in the global offshore wind and subsea power cable markets.
  • Produce quarterly reports and webinars analyzing key market trends and dynamics.
  • Perform numerical analysis, forecasting, modeling, and supply & demand analysis.
  • Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Work on bespoke consultancy projects, providing tailored solutions to clients.
  • Develop and innovate reports, databases, and other outputs to meet client needs.
  • Engage with clients to ensure requests are met efficiently, working closely with the Customer Onboarder team and IT to resolve any issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, attending networking events and presenting at conferences.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree in a technical, numeric, or business-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A strong interest in renewable energy and the energy transition.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data analysis tools.
