Plant Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Biogen (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anaerobic digestion (AD) plants.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Site Manager with the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and running efficiently.
- Plan and execute maintenance activities, including routine checks, repairs, and replacements, to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and quality management systems.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our AD process, including the operation of PLC controls and electronics.
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues on maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies, including cost control and budgeting.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Hold a valid UK driving license and be willing to operate a telehandler truck, with the ability to obtain a telehandler license.
- Work a shift pattern of 7 days out of 14, including weekends, and participate in call-out rota and remote monitoring of the AD process.
