About the Role:

This is a temporary position to 13/10/2025, working full-time hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading early years practitioners in working with children aged 3 to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of early years practitioners to deliver high-quality education and care to children aged 3 to 5 years.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support the continuous professional development of staff.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and child-centred approach to education and care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's transformational change programme.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of leading early years practitioners in a similar setting.
  • A BA in Childhood Practice or an equivalent childcare degree as defined by the SSSC.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
