**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced education professional to join our team as a part-time Midday Assistant in Glossop.

About the Role
  • Ensure the smooth running of students' lunchtime routines and maintain a safe environment for all pupils.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to promote a supportive school community.

This is a part-time role with immediate availability, offering an opportunity to develop your skills and experience within a dynamic secondary school setting.

Responsibilities
  • Manage student behavior during lunchtimes, promoting respectful interactions and minimizing disruptions.
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
  • Support the school's health and safety policies, ensuring the well-being of students and staff at all times.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within schools or the education sector, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
  • Prior experience working with young people, preferably in a school environment.
  • An ability to manage groups effectively and respectfully.

**Competitive Salary:** £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
