Production Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in Stevenage, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Machinery and Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment to meet production targets.

  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks on finished products and report defects to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Production Targets: Ensure production targets and deadlines are met, working collaboratively with the team to achieve goals.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet production targets.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Physical Fitness: Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
