Job Title: Junior Desktop Support Engineer

**Role Overview:**

As a Junior Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide first-line technical support to our clients, both remotely and on-site. You will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring optimal system performance, and delivering excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide technical support to users via remote access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Document and track all support incidents and resolutions.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Attend client sites as required to provide on-site support.

**Qualifications:**

  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A valid driving license is required for on-site support.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience with IT support or help desk environment.
  • Knowledge of common IT applications and software.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
