Job Summary:
Voyage Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Director to lead our residential service in Burnley. As a Service Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, developing and implementing person-centered support plans, and ensuring that individuals gain more independence in their daily lives and have positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the service(s)
- Develop and implement person-centered support plans
- Conduct care needs assessments
- Recruit and induct new colleagues
- Complete supervisions/appraisals
- Complete medication competencies and medication audits
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings
- Complete quarterly audits and reports
- Effectively manage the service's P&L
- Ensure regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CQC registered manager in a care management role
- Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration
- Level 5 in Health & Social Care
- Experience working with individuals with autism, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors
