Audit Director Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Director to join our team in Burnley. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading a team of auditors and providing expert guidance on audit procedures and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of auditors to deliver high-quality audit services to clients
  • Develop and implement audit strategies and plans to meet client needs
  • Conduct audits and provide expert guidance on audit procedures and techniques
  • Manage and develop audit team members to ensure career progression and professional development
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and services to add value to clients
  • Network and promote the audit department to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Develop and present tender proposals to secure new business
  • Manage department goals and evaluate areas for improvement
About the Role:

Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA or CA qualified with extensive experience in audit and management
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Technical expertise in audit and accounting with the ability to provide expert guidance and advice
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities and services to add value to clients
