We are looking for a highly skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team at TT Electronics in Abercynon, South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of materials and services to support our manufacturing operations.

Job Overview:

The role of Materials Coordinator involves:

  • Coordinating the procurement of materials and services to meet production requirements.
  • Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to achieve maximum value for the company.
  • Managing supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
  • Analyzing and reporting on supplier price changes to inform business decisions.
Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of a Materials Coordinator include:

  • Forecasting and planning material requirements to meet production needs.
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure that material requirements are met.
  • Managing inventory levels to minimize excess stock and reduce waste.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Materials Coordinator, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing within a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP, MRP systems, and purchasing systems.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £42,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
