Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Orthopaedic Care Professional to join our team at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying and removing casts, maintaining plaster room safety, and attending theatres and wards as needed. Additionally, they will be required to hold an up-to-date BOA casting certificate and have experience with various casting techniques.

Main Job Responsibilities
  1. Apply and remove casts using gypsona, lightweight synthetic, and soft cast materials.
  2. Maintain plaster room safety and ensure that all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
  3. Attend theatres and wards to apply and remove casts as needed.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a BOA certificate, evidence of continued professional development, and excellent communication skills. They will also be able to work effectively as part of a team and provide exceptional patient care.

Estimated salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
