We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Nursery Nurse - Community Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of children and families in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with health visitors and other professionals to deliver key elements of the Health Child Programme.
- Provide accurate advice and support to enable children, their families, and carers to maximize their health, wellbeing, and potential.
- Manage discreet allocation in relation to parenting support, focusing on topics such as toilet training, bedtime routines, and mealtimes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote the health and wellbeing of children and families.
- NNEB or Level 3 BTec National Diploma in Early Years awarded by Edexcel or equivalent qualification.
- Recent experience of working with children and families, with a strong understanding of child development, behaviour management, and play and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
- Ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
