Embark on a rewarding career journey with Moore Kingston Smith's Nonprofit Audit AAT Trainee Programme. As a trainee, you'll gain hands-on experience in auditing and accounting, working with a diverse range of nonprofit clients. Our comprehensive training programme will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the role, deliver exceptional client service, and progress towards becoming a fully qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audit fieldwork for nonprofit clients, with support from the wider audit team.
  • Review accounts in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards and legal requirements.
  • Draft basic corporation tax computations.
  • Assist with managing client expectations and deadlines.
  • Draft recommendations for improvements to clients' financial systems and controls.
  • Attend client meetings with the wider team.
  • Support with drafting close out audit meeting agenda and points for discussion.
  • Maintain knowledge of ISA requirements and MKS internal policies in producing audit files.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of double entry accounting/bookkeeping.
  • Work with other trainees to deliver assignments and assist with their personal development.
