Early Years Practitioner

Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a flexible way to work? We're seeking a casual Early Years Practitioner to provide cover across our nurseries.
With a zero hour contract, you'll have the freedom to choose from available shifts and work in a role that suits your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a nurturing environment and engage with children of all ages and developmental skills.
- Support children, colleagues and parents; deliver stimulating activities; and record daily observations.
- Comply with policies and procedures; attend training opportunities; and ensure the nursery is a safe environment.
- Embrace the variety of each day and use initiative to keep children engaged.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 2/3 childcare qualification or relevant experience is desirable.
- A commitment to providing high-quality childcare, including physical care and hygienic practice.
- Understanding of the developmental needs of children, Statutory Framework and relevant legislation.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety and knowledge of safeguarding good practice.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification or willingness to train.
