Job Summary:
We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Early Years Practitioner. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our young learners, supporting their development and growth in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality childcare and education to children aged 4 months – 5 years, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Support children's learning and development through play-based activities, observing and recording their progress, and planning next steps in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
- Attend training opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the development of our organisation.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to policies and procedures outlined by the setting.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 2/3 childcare qualification or relevant experience is desirable.
- A commitment to providing high-quality childcare, including physical care and hygienic practice for children aged 4 months – 5 years.
- Understanding of the developmental needs of children, Statutory Framework, and relevant legislation.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding good practice.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification or willingness to train.
