We are seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team in Doncaster and make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the life of a gentleman with a learning disability, assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and developing relationships and life skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily activities, including washing, cleaning, cooking, and personal care.
  • Provide emotional support and develop relationships and life skills.
  • Assist with appointments and daily routines.
  • Follow, create, and update detailed support plans to ensure the individual is cared for how they need and wish to be.

Requirements

  • Experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health concerns, anxieties, and autism.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
