Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our service users, working closely with the Occupational Therapist and multidisciplinary team.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing occupational therapy interventions to individuals with mental health needs. You will be responsible for delivering group and individual sessions, providing feedback to the Occupational Therapist and multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to service users, including group and individual sessions
- Provide feedback to the Occupational Therapist and multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to the development of treatment plans
- Work closely with the Occupational Therapist and multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience working in adult mental health or personality disorder environments
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to manage highly demanding clinical presentations
- Understanding of occupational therapy and the process/interventions
