We are a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals, children, and families in the Tonbridge area.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team, preferably with experience in child and adolescent psychology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to adults and children, employing various therapeutic modalities to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy to adults and children, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and various therapeutic modalities.
  • Offer guidance and support to parents and families, providing psychoeducation, parenting strategies, and assisting with understanding and managing their child's emotional and behavioral difficulties.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, document sessions, maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, and prepare comprehensive written reports as required.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field, with specialized training in child and adolescent psychology.
  • Registration and licensure as a practicing psychologist with the appropriate regulatory body in the UK.
  • Clinical experience in adult and child psychology, including psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapy.
  • Expertise in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and various therapeutic modalities applicable to children and adolescents.
  • Strong assessment skills, with proficiency in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and interpreting assessment results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex psychological concepts.
  • Empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity when working with clients, maintaining a client-centered and non-judgmental approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including effective communication and consultation with other professionals.

Compensation

Pay will be structured on a self-employed basis, for each therapy session. Rates will be based on experience and in line with the market.
