At Gilks (Nantwich), we are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Engineer to join our expanding team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing electrical contracts from initial enquiry to closure, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage varied contracts, including labour resource, materials, and sub-contractors.
  • Meet with clients, advise, and assist with design and installation queries.
  • Estimate, plan, and track projects to meet KPIs.
  • Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
  • Ensure financial control of projects to meet KPIs.
  • Proactively ensure compliance with H&S, liaising with SHEQ management.
  • Deliver profitable contracts to client satisfaction in accordance with internal processes.
  • Maintain existing customer base and develop new opportunities.
  • Encourage and motivate the team, promoting a positive culture through learning and engagement.
Requirements
  • Health and safety certification (SMSTS or similar) preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
  • Estimating experience with material take-off preferred but not essential.
  • Experience working with Sage accounting advantageous, although training can be provided.
