Job Title: Senior Export Contract Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Export Contract Manager to lead and deliver complex, strategically important export contracts within the Programmes Export Operations Directorate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Leadership: Lead international government and military contracts for high-stakes projects, representing Anson McCade up to the 1* level.
  • Contract Oversight: Oversee multiple, diverse contracts across domains and locations, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Contract Management: Manage contract schedules to maximise customer satisfaction while building enduring relationships.
  • Risk Management: Proactively resolve issues through strategic risk and opportunity management, safeguarding Anson McCade's interests and international reputation.
  • Contract Administration: Organise customer acceptance events, coordinate transport solutions, and manage contractual payments.
  • Communication: Communicate consistently and clearly with customers, government bodies, partners, and internal teams.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contract amendments and support Sales & Business Development in acquiring new international contracts.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate internationally with teams in France, Spain, and Italy to fulfil Inter-Company Trading export contracts.

Requirements:

  • Leadership: Leadership and relationship management skills to build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships.
  • Strategic Thinking: Experience defining, communicating, and implementing strategic goals within complex political environments.
  • Contract Management: Proven experience in leading contract delivery through both bid and execution phases, ideally on an international scale.
  • Interpersonal Skills: A high level of self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a confident and transparent leadership style.
  • People Management: Experience in people management, handling internal and external stakeholder relations.
  • Cultural Awareness: Flexibility for international travel and openness to diverse cultures.
  • Business Acumen: Background in preparing and authorising Bid submissions, with preferable experience as Business Bid Authority.
  • Organisational Skills: Experience collaborating in large, complex (multi-national) organisations with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, export control, quality, and engineering.
