Mobile Engineering at Firestartr

The mobile team at Firestartr is responsible for developing and delivering several products, including consumer iOS and Android apps, as well as developer-facing mobile SDKs and retailer acceptance apps for iOS and Android.

We are always at the forefront of the latest technologies, including watchOS, Android Wear, and new programming languages such as Kotlin. Our expertise includes Swift, Alamofire, Realm, RxSwift, Moya, and Carthage.

We prioritize user feedback and launch betas as early as possible to ensure we're building what our users truly need.

Our technology stack includes REST APIs, Fabric/Crashlytics, Apptimize A/B testing, Mixpanel analytics, Bitrise CI/CD, and JIRA.

Requirements
  • Experience in building scalable iOS apps from scratch and working with existing codebases.
  • Familiarity with the latest iOS SDKs and experience with technologies like Swift, Xcode, and Objective-C.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects from start to finish.
  • Experience with Unit testing & Integration Tests, as well as technologies like Kanban, Git, CI, CD, and Reactive Extensions.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and a deep understanding of user needs.
  • Passion for building mobile products that will be used by millions of people.
  • Strong emphasis on code quality and testing.
