Senior Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our corporate tax department, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse client portfolio and providing expert tax planning and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tailored tax planning and advisory services to meet their needs
- Work closely with Directors and Partners to deliver high-quality tax planning services
- Oversee WIP management, negotiating and raising fees to ensure optimal revenue
- Develop and mentor junior staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills
- Monitor team performance, identifying knowledge gaps and providing training to address them
- Collaborate with Directors and Partners to ensure deadlines and fee recovery targets are met
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, proactively handling queries and resolving issues
- Contribute to team meetings, driving the overall management of the tax department
- Stay up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team
- Identify new business opportunities within your portfolio and through networking

- CTA / ATT / ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent experience

- Good people management skills, with experience of mentoring junior staff
- Strong technical tax knowledge, with a bias towards compliance tax
- Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to progress
- A team player with excellent organisation and time management skills
- Commercial business acumen and the ability to scope out new business opportunities
